green car fireworks score lowered..maybe!

Was just on VMK in the fireworks lobby and overheard someone saying they were on the last step of the green car quest and needed 260,000 to get it, so with any luck, they have lowered it to a more achieveable level.

I highly doubt it, I was scoring all day today for green level between 265,000 and 270,000 and it did not give me the green car pin. Fyi

If they changed the score then that means that they have to "terminate" the entire quest, and they didn't because, I am still at the fireworks task. Sure, it would be awesome if they did terminate it and changed the score, but that means I have to go back and get those 85 stinkin' ghosts again!! gr.......

One thing that the VMK staff should keep in mind is that by making a non-tradable item rare by using a "skill threshold", they are inviting scams that involve sharing account passwords.

We've already seen multiple people post that they would be willing to give out their account information, so that people can win quest items onto their characters.

It's likely only a matter of time before people start advertising that they'd be willing to "win" quest items for others if people send them their account info.

Obviously, this is not only foolish with huge scam potential, but also against VMK rules. But it's going to happen, and VMK will be indirectly encouraging it by their decision to make non-tradable items winnable only in this way.

Personally, I don't understand why a non-tradable item needs to be rare.

Anyways, it doesn't matter to me if they lowered it to 260k or not. I can't get that high of a score on fireworks.
And I really don't care about the green car. I don't even like green much.
But, as a collector and completist, I would like to be able to have it.

maybe he was refering back when the score was lower. Befor they hiked it up to 300k and then to 280k. Heck i am going to accomplish this myself one day i will get 280. i do have to say that the trading peoples account info is crazy!

Well since there are tons of people that got the green car before the quests changed, its not like everyone you see with that pin will have beat the quest, or have that skill level. The fact that it was changed after a bunch of people got it upset me at first, until i realized that there is absolutely no reason why you need it at all! So over it now, never even went back and attempted it since the change.

I think if they lowered it to 270,000 it would still be rare as many people cannot get to that score either. I just don't know. I mean how many people can really get up there?!? Plus the fact that they've changed it so many times really isn't all that fair. What was the score the first time, 260k, or 240k? I can't remember...

It started out as catching 75 ghosts and only 200K in Fireworks.

Yes, that is absolutely correct. I was lucky enough to do the quest at that time. For me, that was much easier than it is now. I think the quest was like that for the first 2-3 days.

Green car? What's that? There is no green car in this game. No green car that I know of. That green car ceased to exist the day they made it 85 ghosts and some equally insane fireworks score.

I know nothing about a green car.

I have been practicing all week and can't get past my all time high of 265ish...it seems the more I practice the worse I do...lol the pressure of it all!

I don't get Yavn, or whoever decided this.
I'm pretty sure the word fun isn't hidden in 'Virtual Magic Kingdom' but if there was, they would of stolen it.

It is too bad that they have it so high. They put it so high that only the top few players can achive it. I am a decent fireworks player--I consistently hit well over 240,000--usually I'm in the mid-to-high 250,000's, and my top has been around 265,000. I don't know how I will ever reach the 289,000.

I wish they would lower it to 250,000 or 260,000. Lowering it that much would make it easily obtainable to more players, but still be a challenge to the vast majority of players.
