Green bean casserole

I know there was a thread on here not too long ago about it. You would think I could find where I wrote it down. My soup cans and my green bean cans don't have the recipe on them! If anyone else has the same problem, here's Campbell's link.

I wish I had seen your post 20 minutes ago. I have green bean casserole in the oven right now, but I didn't put any soy sauce in them. That sounds really good, though. Oh well, next time.

I don't put soy sauce in there. I don't use the French's fried onions either. I saute' real onions and put them in, then top it with slivered almonds...yummy!

I never had it until two or three years ago when I went to a friend's house for Thanksgiving. Everyone brought a dish for dinner, and she asked me to make green bean casserole. I've been making it for Thanksgiving and Christmas ever since!

I love green bean casserole but that commercial that is running now makes me crazy

I ran out of time so I went to Marsh and bought their version of it. Put it into my dish & warmed it up. Easiest green bean casserole ever!

I usually follow the recipe on the French's Fried Onions but I add sauteed mushrooms, bacon and shredded cheddar cheese! It's really good!!

I dont do soy sause either........... but I do add sliced up water chestnuts....... yummmmmy! Adds a bit of crunch.

Nope, not as good and they used french style green beans. I like good old chunky green beans best.

I agree...French style beans don't cut it. I need the cut beans.
