So this Sunday is greek easter:)

My family has close friends that are greek and every year we go to their house to celebrate with them. Its so much fun, Greeks make such good food *yummy yummy*.

So does anyone here celebrate or know anyone that celebrates

We celebrate it. I had two hours of sleep last night because it's customary to eat dinner/soup after midnight on this day. xD

Just opened my Easter basket and I'm eating everything I couldn't eat when I was fasting. :teeth: The only thing about it though is that when people I know who celebrate Catholic/secular Easter hear me say "Oh, well today's Easter for us and we're going to go to these people's house" they look at me and laugh "Uh. Easter was last week." Yeah, it does get a little annoying every year. xD The calenders just follow a different date. I think Greek Easter is always a week after Catholic but I don't pay attention to it much so I'm not sure.
