Yesterday the Points Guy posted a quote from the Tourist Minister that Greece will be open this summer to tourists *even from the US*. It sounds like they will be accepting vaccinations, proof of antibodies and neg PCR tests. I'm hopeful that this is the beginning of Europe allowing US visitors again. We're currently booked on the Switzerland and Italy trip on September 9th and if it's cancelled, I may try to move to the September 10th Greece. Fingers crossed that things will finally start to improve.

Im wondering how this will work with stopovers in other Europe airports on the way
I'm assuming it would depend on the stopover country. I highly doubt your airline would follow this for you, unless it caused them to not be able to land in the stopover country.
