greatest tip

use fass pass

if staying on Disney property use EHM.

don't take more to the parks than you really need. carrying a bunch of junk in the heat will make you slow down and get in a bad mood.

use all the cold down places that WDW has set up. So you don't want to get wet in the morning - believe me by the afternoon you will be happy to get wet...

Have FUN!!!

:guilty: :sad2:  :cheer2: :flower3: :groom: what is your greatest tip ypu haveprincess: :grouphug:

Don't do commando style touring, because it wears everyone out and becomes more of a task than a vacation. Enjoy what you do get to experience and walk away:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 with memories that are more favorable to a pleasurable vacation rather than one that you don't remember the experience rather than the hussle and bussle of trying to get to the next place. :thumbsup2

Pace yourselves and take lots of pictures. Pictures bring the magic of Disney back home and will keep you happy until your next trip!

Mix rides with shows to give you time to relax/rest.
Don't eat heavy foods or drink to much soda.
Take me with you.........
Pictures, Pictures, Pictures

Take the disposable emergency ponchos w/ you into the parks each day. It will probably rain at some time.

Slow down and smell the roses.

Drink lots of water. You can ask for a cup of ice water for free at any of the CS restaurants.

Don't forget your sunscreen and a hat.

Study a good guide book or two. Public libraries usually have some. One of the best and most comprehensive is the Unofficial Guide to WDW.

You cannot possibly do Everything in one trip. Make a list of the "Must Do's" and do them.

Gleen as much info as you can from here and at www.allearsnet.com.

Take a break in the afternoon. Wash feet and change socks at that time. Watch for blisters and hot spots. If you don't have bandaids / moleskin, the first aid stations do. Happy feet make for a happy vacation

Let the slowest one in your party set the pace. Let the kids choose which rides to ride first.

Get plenty of rest. If you cannot make an early morning EMH or a late night show, it is OK. Save it for another day when all are better rested. Do not try to do an early morning after a late night.

Drink lots of water.

And most importantly...Have FUN.

The best way I have found to do the MK is e-night rides, check to make sure if they are offering one while you are there. They do cost around $20, but all of the MK major attractions are open until 3 a.m. for all those with a wrist band. There a virtually no lines. I would get up early that morning, do a character breakfest that gets you into the park early and do winnie the pooh, snow white, and peter pan and whatever else you wanted to do. Then head back to the hotel and take a nap or relax by the pool. Come back in the park an hour before the fireworks and go do pirates and tommarowland transit authority, or watch the fire works. Then the place clears out and you have the MK to yourself!! Even if you have little ones it is great because there are characters in the park and you don't have to wait to see them. Not sure about this but I am pretty sure they are for Disney Resort Guests only, but they are entirely worth the money!!

FYI... They do not offer e-nights any more. Haven't for quite a few years now. Sorry.

On-site guests can take advantage or Extra Magic Hours, however (where a park opens 1 hr. early, or remains opened up to 3 hrs. later, for resort guests only).

And during many times of the year there are hard ticket events at MK on special nights, such as Mickey's Not-So-Scarey Halloween Party, Pirate & Princess Parties, the Christmas Party, etc.. So there are still times throughout the year where you can purchase a party ticket and gain 'limited' access to MK... along with additional special party perks.

Not necessarily Disney, but a packing tip for flying:
Pack a change of clothes in your carryon
When traveling with others, pack some of everyone's clothes in every bag. It's unlikely that the airline will misplace all of your luggage, and you'll have a few things to wear until your luggage reappears. (I pack 2 checked bags for DH and me-each has half our clothes in it.)
