Great Wolf Lodge??

Anyone been to any of the Great Wolf Lodge resorts? What did you think of it?

Not personally, but my SIL stayed at one in the Dells and it sounded awesome!

I have stayed at the one in Wisconsin Dells 3 times and loved it!

We've stayed at the one in Sandusky, Ohio used to the The Great Bear Lodge. It was great! Especially fun to be in a waterslide tunnel thru the snow flakes.

We stayed at the one in Traverse City, MI. We had a great time! Would go again in a heartbeat.

I've stayed at the one in Sandusky as well -- it's great!! Try to go during the week on a day when you can get a discount, otherwise, it's pretty pricey.

We have visited but not stayed in the one in Missouri. There is a whole bunch of things to do!! I agree w/ Bob--it does get pricey. Also--if you go during the week it might not be as many people.

Our friends went to the one in Traverse City and said they'd love to go back again someday if they ever have rooms discounted that much again.

Which one were you thinking of? The one in Wisconsin Dells is nice, but if you are going to the Dells the Kalahari is MUCH nicer.

We actually just made a reservation (on Monday) for the Great Wolf Lodge in Wis. Dells - a plain 2 queen bed room for $119. We are staying Sunday August 29 and Monday August 30.

The rate was on their website - but did my reservation over the phone. The ressie person about jumped out of his shorts when he realized that - yes - there really was a rate that low.

We were deciding between the Kalahari and Great Wolf, and originally only for 1 night. The really low rate is what prompted us to do a 2-nighter.

While we stayed at Treasure Island over spring break, DB & SIL & DNiece stayed at GW, and we visited the water park there with them. It was a great day, lots of fun! You'll enjoy. Kalahari also looks quite nice, and it's across the road from where you'll be.

We're leaving Friday for a multi-city trip, but we end up in WI Dells, and chose Chula Vista this time. I haven't been there since I was a kid!

Thanks all! We are going to the one in Traverse City this weekend, taking my neice and nephew. I am really looking forward to it.
Is the waterpark as good as it sounds? Should I expect it to be really crowded?
