Marsha, thanks sooo much for the code. It worked no problem. We were able to get into our room at noon. But I will never go there again. We heard kids running past our room and doors slamming from 6 to after 11 and then started at 7 the next morning. I can't believe how parents let their kids run wild. I almost got run over by a pack of kids on more than one occasion in the halls. And in the waterpark the lifeguards were not keeping kids under control there. There was one little girl about 8 pushing others in the lazy river so she could get to the water spots. We, even my ds 14, were not impressed with the place. I am so glad I was able to get the night at a discounted rate and dh's job is going to reimburse us most for a thankyou for instead of giving him overtime.

I'm sorry you didn't have a good time. Maybe it was going on a weekend? We always go on a Sunday night and I haven't had many problems. Had the same problem as you in the lazy river--I wish they would make it like other water parks, where you can't swim in there.

I'm sorry you didn't have a good time. Maybe it was going on a weekend? We always go on a Sunday night and I haven't had many problems. Had the same problem as you in the lazy river--I wish they would make it like other water parks, where you can't swim in there.

That's the funny thing, we checked in sunday morning and checked out this morning. Ds is out of school today and tomorrow for teacher's workday and election day. We thought it wouldn't be crowded since we're the only school system out around here. But hey, we got to cross the lodge off our "bucket" list and we ate at Pierces BBQ, love their hushpuppies.

I, too, would like to know about specials after Christmas. I have signed up for their club and asked for a brochure and have received NOTHING. I am trying to give them money, right!?

Just wanted to update that the SCOUT code is still good. I got a family suite for Thanksgiving night for 5 people for $159. The NOVEMBURR code was giving me $479.95!!! I was also looking at the week of Christmas and was getting some nights at $189 with SCOUT. So we are going to blow off family Thanksgiving dinner at my mom's this year - haven't told her yet though. DH is getting ready to go back to sea for 4 months and Thanksgiving is my birthday, and I just want to have some FUN!!
