I think Great Wolf is learning a little bit of disney. When you check in, on the back of your bill is an offer bounce back: book Sun-Thur for $109.95 plus tax. You have to book it before you leave. You need to pay for the first night's stay and the following nights attached to the first night's stay is held for payment until check in. Fri and Sat are $149.95 plus tax. I booked all the way for son bbay again in Feb 2011. And they even suggested if I wanted to come back this June just call and change the orginal date to June and then in June book Feb again so it sounds like they be offering this all year. I could not get that price for xmas week, so there are black out dates. And I forgot to ask if we could book for a different location.
A short time report. We stayed one night. We arrived around 10A, we were starting with Magic Quest before swimming. The CM
said someone did not arrive last night you can have your room now. The room was on the main pool floor (if you wanted the main floor the price was higher). I think 4 guest rooms down from the pool and fairly close to Magic Quest a great location. There was a spot to park our car close to our ground patio door, so moving in and out was a breeze. Fridge in the room we brought our own drinks.
We got pizza hut 2 for 19.99 their special, it was very good. Had their buffet for breakfast (if you buy it online the servers include your drinks for free). Had great eggs made to order. Their gift shop is nothing exciting but a post card there only cost 27 cents! Room was nice, clean, no complaints, well the heater only was on or off no cycling, it was noisy but we mostly slept thru it. Pools were clean, they had to close the little kid slide area for a time due to bodily fluids? Since our last visit I am sure there was less lifeguards. And the inside gift shop (in the pool area) and the tatoo area was only open Sunday not Monday. Around 2P, I went to the lobby to ask a question, not a lot of people in line, but employees were telling people no rooms probably at least until 4PM (which is offical check in time).
One grown tall man was bitterly complaining about the lack of mattress of the pull out sofa. (I've slept on the one at DVC it's not a picnic that's why we put the lighter kids on it). I think all pullouts and not the best in hotel so I wasn't surprised -just a comment.
