Hi all,
I have often seen posts from people looking for possible discounts at Great Wolf Lodge. I just wanted to let you know in case you haven't seen this, that there is a possible $50 discount I think on a 2 night stay of you buy the DVD 'Alpha and Omega' which was released in 1/11. We were just at the Dells location and they had a number of copies at the hotel gift shop with a specially marked sticker with $50 off a future stay. We didn't buy one to find what all the details were on the insert, but I did see that it was good through 6/30/11 (not sure to book b4 6/30 or stay before 6/30). Anyways, it might be worth the effort to look around at Best Buy or your local store with videos if you are looking for a Great Wolf discount. Of course you would have to buy the DVD, but from the in-room preview which has a big tie-in to the G.W. lodge (the movie is all about wolves!), it looked like a really nice animated kid's movie.
Also, we have stayed there numerous times now, but just realized that they offer Bounceback deals like Disney does. I didn't even notice it until I read my hotel receipt, but on the back it says call '0' before checkout...rates as low as $109. Just thought I would mention that because GW is very flexible...you could book a stay for a possible timeframe, and always change it if need be.
Just an FYI
