Hi!

We want to go n Feb. But are looking for a good deal where we hope not to spend 150-200 a night. Do you think if we book the first night for Fri we will get the bounce back rate for a sat that is cheaper? Or do you think that is a big risk to where we will not have a place to stay on Sat if they are full? Somone once told me that Grapevine is the most expensive one and if you call them and tell them you frequently go to the other one and it is cheaper and you dont understand why this one is so expensive they will give you a better rate...is that true?

I live about 20 minutes from the Grapevine Great Wolf Lodge. I've never stayed there but have heard nothing but good things about it. You could try calling them ahead of time if you're worried about it. I've googled "GreatWolf Lodge Coupon Codes" and occasionally come across specials that are specifically for the Grapevine location. If you're worried about not having a place to stay, the Gaylord Texan is across the street. No waterpark there, of course, but they often give really good deals. There is also a really nice Embassy Suites down the street. I think either of these would be willing to give you a deal if you explained that you thought you had reservations at Great Wolf but they were overbooked.
