Great Wolf code works for room selection but not checkout??

I had put in a code online that I wasn't sure would still work for Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos. It gave me a rate for the days requested and it didn't come up "invalid code" when I did the room search (where other codes had). So the code worked until I went to checkout and that's when it said invalid code. Did anyone ever have this happen?

I'm trying to book far in advance so it will be cheaper because I know the closer it gets the more expensive it is.

I've never had that happen, but why don't you just call and have them apply the code over the phone? Just be sure to have them e-mail a confirmation. I just did this with my Girl Scout troop, and had a terrible time getting a confirmation (took three calls to finally get it right). They were able to apply any codes on the phone. It was nice being able to search for the rates online, but I called since it was a tax-exempt situation.

Just curious..how much is your code for? I've got one for 20%. Now that we know how much fun it is, we want to take the family, so I'm trying to make it as budget as possible.

I have one for 20% off too but that was only bringing it to like $239. Then there are the $26 in taxes and fees! So I was hoping to bring it down cheaper than that but there doesn't seem to be any codes out there. The one that wasn't working in checkout was for $189. I'm not sure if there was a 2 night minimum for that but it really didn't say that anywhere. I guess I will try calling. I'll let you know if that works. Thanks!

I had an issue this weekend in the poconos one where they would not accept my tax exempt form since we are from NJ.

We went to the one in Poconos a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have a problem with the tax exempt once we were there, but I was given wrong info about how to handle it. I had to call them three times to get the rooms right, and each time, I specifically asked how to handle the tax exempt. Three times I was told to just show the exempt card at check-in. I was actually supposed to fill out a form well ahead of time.

The manager was excellent and called corporate and was able to take off the tax right away.

I was curious about the out-of area problem because I never really noticed our tax card before. It only has numbers for MD and WV. So, I was expecting them not to accept it. I was thrilled that they did!

I called and got the code that wouldn't work on line. Of course then they tried to sell my late checkout and packages but I got the 189!

uggg It makes me want to call them back and complain.. They told me my tax form had to say PA on in.. something about going to the courthouse because it was from NJ. I spend almost $800 on the rooms.
