We were at Mk on 9-27-06, a Wed. Wishes was happening at 8:00 but we were tired and also wanted to beat the crowds out of the park. So we left at 7:45 and got on the ferry. We had barely left the dock when the fireworks started. We watched them all across the lagoon. When we got to the other side we were asked to leave the dock but continued watching from just beyond the exit. I was a great view. I highly recommend it.
The next night we had dinner @ Kona. Our ADRs were for 2 hours before the time Wishes was scheduled. We finished dinner with about 30 minutes to spare. We went out to the beach, finding a lounge chair to share and settled down to wait. Right on time we saw the Electrical Water Pageant in front of us and Wishes in the distance. It was great. We did go 30 minutes beyond our 'allowed' parking pass time but we weren't concerned and it was not a problem.
The view was best from the ferry dock but both were fabulous ways to watch Wishes!
