Great trip - lots of pixie dust!

We just returned from a two week vacation. 11 nights WDW, 4 nights US/IOA.

What a lucky trip we had. Ds was picked to ride with Goofy, all three kids got to wake up Tinkerbelle, and dd and ds were picked for Belle's Fairytale Garden show!

We had great weather (hot - but not as hot as NJ was the first week), little rain. Crowds were pretty manageable. I was worried as the hotels were all filled up but either we had great timing or hit it really lucky. We were always at parks at opening and crowds were not a big issue as we left by 1:00 almost every day. Only did MK AM EMH and it was great.

WOw, that is wonderful! What did she ride with goofy in? Was it in the parade?

How in the world did you get them to wake up Tinkerbell? (can you tell I'm jealous!) Can you tell me what time you were able to get there. Any tricks you want to share to get there?

Ds rode with Goofy on Goofy's Barnstorm Rollercoaster. It was weird some days Goofy rode the first ride of the day, some days he didn't. There was a circle of kids around Goofy and he just held my ds's hand and led him to the rollercoaster. Ds was one of the smaller kids in the group.

Waking up Tinkerbelle - we've been lucky to be able to wake up Tinkerbelle once on every trip except our first trip in 2003 before I found the DIS boards!
We just go right to Tinkerbelle's treasures store when MK opens, no running or knocking people down, and ask if anyone else has woken up Tinkerbelle - so far we've always been the first ones. Except on Disney boards I don't think a whole lot of people even know about it. Another family came in while the kids were "waking her up". It was funny because when we were leaving the husband was telling the wife oh let's just go we can always do that later, LOL.

Thanks. That is funny. We rode the first ride on Goofy's Barnstormer (Pluto helped open the rope that day) and there was no Goofy, good to know for future visits though - the kids would love that.

I'll keep trying at Tink's, you give me hope. We've tried two years and a row with no luck (always getting there super early with Breakfast in the park before the park opens.) maybe someday. I've never told the kids about it so they aren't disappointed though.

Lucky you to have such a long vacationj and so much pixie dust! I think you're right about DISers being in the know about things and doing so well with crowds!
