GREAT Theme Park Question From The Budget Board!

Someone on the Budget Board asked if -
Free Coke Caps could be used in the Parks?

Anyone know?

My husband and I are wondering the same - be great way to save money on POP if you collected them through the year.

COKE CAPS are when you buy the 1 liter or less plastic Pop bottles and under the cap it sometimes says FREE COKE.


We think most of the parks are fountain but possible a pop machine by TEST TRACk at Epcot. The gift shops at the resorts that have a few groceries sale the pop in bottles but not for sure. Quess if you don't look for things like that don't pay attention.'

If anyone going soon please ask where you see them selling them. Now that I think about it the POPCORN stands do have them..... etc... Would be great to know if they do honor them.

Sorry no real answer except what a COKE CAP is????

I think the question is referring to a contest Coke runs where certain marked bottle caps can be redeemed for a free bottle of Coke. As far as the answer to the question goes, I don't know. I have redeemed bottle caps for free drinks before (usually Diet Mt. Dew because that's my drink of choice) but I've always redeemed them at convenience stores. It seems that they could be redeemed anywhere the bottles are sold, including WDW, but there may be some restrictions on where they can be redeemed that I don't know about. Does anyone else know the answer to this?

I don't know the answer to this but my guess would be no you wouldn't be able to do this at WDW. As Kaycee said I think there are restrictions when it comes to this promotion and IMHO I don't think Disney would want to "deal" with this!

I think Baloo and Kaycee are right. Usually with promotions like that, from my experience, the stores can send in the caps to be reimbursed. I just dont see Disney wanting to bother with something like that because of how large they are. I guess the only way to know for sure is to ask though

I don't know either, but you might call 1-800-GETCOKE and ask them.

We had one of the free Coke caps (bottle lids) for a 1 liter bottle but couldn't find anywhere in the world that sold that size - only half liter sizes.

I know at the baseball park where I work we take them and let people use them.

I would think WDW would to but I am not sure.

I know Six Flags over Georgia do.
