Great Service, sending bags to airport....

We were so pleased!!!!! to be able to send our bags to the airport at the Beach Club so that all that we needed to do on our return trip home was wait for the car service (Sunray Tours was GREAT!!!! thank you all who recommended them!!!!!). It is GREAT that Disney guests can do this with participating airlines and you DON'T have to be utilizing ME!!!!! I hope they keep this service around!!!!

I agree it was the best! We used DME instead of towncar for the first time. Used curbside checkin at home airport no waiting for luggage at MCO. Checked in at BW room not ready went for lunch, called after lunch room was ready with luggage already in it. Checked luggage at resort didn't have to deal with luggage until we got back to Newark.

From the airport to Disney, DME is primarily a Guest-transport service. If you don't have your voucher scanned and board the bus, your luggage doesn't get transported to the resort.
From Disney to the airport, IF you are departing on a participating airline (Delta, Song, United, Ted, Continental, American, JetBlue), you can check in for your flight at your resort and check your luggage through to your home airport. In this direction, you do NOT have to ride the DME bus; luggage is transported by BAGS, Inc, in a separate vehicle (just as it was on your way to Disney, for those Guests using DME's features as they were designed.

kaytieeldr: Thanks for the info. Who do you check them with; bell service? Is there a KIOSK? We stay at POR and fly JETBLUE. I have never used the system and would like to try it this time. If it works we can get online and check our seats as well, since we will have no luggage to check at MCO.

There will be a counter at your resort to check luggage. They will give you your boarding pass also. At the airport head right to security then your gate.
