I returned to my room at the Swan and Dolphin on friday evening and there was a message waiting on my phone. The message was from the Valet Parking booth and it said they had my car keys. This left me completely confused as I didn't valet park....and I didn't know I was missing my keys! I went down there and sure enough, they had my keys. As I walked back to the room I looked at the tag, it was pretty generic with just a plate number and a description of the car. It didn't say "National Rental" anywhere on it. They had not taken my plate number when I came in. I realized they only way they could have tracked it back to me was to run the plate, find out it was a national rental, call national and get my name and compare it to the guest list! That is really going the extra mile in my opinion!
I was also glad to see that with all the cutbacks after 9/11 that the Swan and Dolphin had kept up their standards as far as cleanliness and service go. It was a most enjoyable stay.
