Great Pin Meet

yesterday in CT. There were many new folks, some I never even got a chance to meet or trade with along with many of the regulars. Thanks again Cynthia!

A moment of silence for Sharon's Lilo & Stitch pin too.

I was able to get my Pirates of the Caribbean pin! Thanks Joanne.

Also, Peggie was there with my Star Spangled pins. That AC pin is awesome! Thanks Peggie.

We had a great time too Mario! Always, thanks to Peggie, the finder of all great SSE pins, we love them.It was nice seeing both new pin addicts and those of us who should know better!! So easy to buy new ones too...
Dinner was so nice, the company was wonderful and the conversations were fun. Sharon and family were at one end of the longgggggggggg table and Jody and Jim at the other end. Sandwiched in between were more true Disney lovers. Thanks so much to everyone for a great afternooon and evening.

I was so happy I was able to get to the meet at the mall yesterday. I was feeling awful, but I got to see my friends and have some nice conversations. Seeing Roger looking good made me feel a little better. I hope he continues to improve, but yesterday he did look happy to be with us.
Can you believe I went to a pin meet and didn't bring any pins with me? I was just not up to trading, I hope whatever I have clears out soon.
But I did bring all the SSE pins I had for everyone who my group proxied for and everyone was very pleased with how pretty they are. Glad you all liked them.
Dom, Cynthia has yours, make sure you get them before she goes off to FL. They will make great traders....lol

Wish I could have been at both!! Had a great time meeting Karinmac and Shoes99 in NYC. Traded with most of the traders there there and managed to fill in a few holes in my character collection. Off to Nyack next week then... OH NO a weekend with out a pin meet!! Think I will be having serious withdrawal pains!! LOL!

It was a wonderful meet. 19 stayed for dinner...so many we couldn't all fit at one table. We are all looking forward to the October meet...we are outgrowing West Farms Mall and are looking forward to having an entire hotel suite to spread out in.

BTW, we have discovered our new friend Jim (Donald-Fanatic) has some amazing framing skills. Nat, you have got to meet this guy.

We are looking forward to August 10th, so we can do this again. If there's any way you can get to central CT that day, be sure to join us at 3:00pm under the escalators in front of Rainforest Cafe.

if you ever want to try my brother-in-laws place at the country club in Southington, let me know. Plenty of space to spread out the pins, food, alcohol, let me know. We could try one month.

The only negative is that fact that there is no Disney Store.

Meanwhile, I will just imagine some little kid finding a teeny tiny Stitch head on the floor one day and taking it home to tuck under his or her pillow....
