I have a question about Photopass. I find that I'm taking 2 trips to WDW this year (one in November, one in December). Can I get a Photopass card during the November trip, then keep it and fill it up more during the December trip?
I don't know for sure, but I think that they delete your pictures after 30 days. So if your trips are less than 30 days apart, I would think the answer is yes. If not, I would think the answer is no.
I posed my question to the official powers that be, and this is their reply - if you'll be taking 2 trips close to each other, this is good news!
My original question was,
I'm all about clarity. Please verify for me that I can go to WDW, use Photopass, go home, claim those pictures within 30 days but NOT buy them, then return to WDW within the NEW 30 day period (AFTER claiming the pictures to the Photopass account), get MORE Photopass pictures taken on the same card, and then purchase ALL the photos on one CD when I am at the parks that second time?
And the reply I received (edited slightly for privacy) was:
DisneyPhotoPass.Com and the process to order images on CD run a two
different systems:
1. If you are looking to order prints only:
Using your words with some modification:
I can go to WDW, use PhotoPass, go home, claim those pictures within 30
days but not buy them, then return to WDW within this 30 day period
(AFTER claiming the pictures to the PhotoPass account), get MORE
PhotoPass pictures taken on the same card, and then purchase prints from
DisneyPhotoPass.Com or at the park.
2. If you are looking to order CD only:
I can go to WDW, use PhotoPass, go home, claim those pictures within 30
days but not buy them, then return to WDW within this 30 day period
(AFTER claiming the pictures to the PhotoPass account), get MORE
PhotoPass pictures taken on the same card, and then purchase ALL the
photos on one CD when I am at the parks that second time or the
following special website:
Disney's PhotoPass CD is $99.95 plus $6.49 for domestic standard
shipping. Please note that the CD will only contain the original images
taken by our photographers; no modifications or edits made online at
DisneyPhotoPass.com will appear on the CD. Also, your complete 16-digit
PhotoPass ID number(s) are required in order to fulfill your request.
