Great night at Cardiff's Big Weekend

Went to the Cardiff Big Weekend last night and saw Jimmy Cliff and he was brilliant, The Big Weekend in Cardiff is a free entry into the one of the largest outdoor travelling funfair's and free bands over a three night period.

Vic and I walked up about 8pm and he was on at 9 and he brought the house down, he sang loads of his hits including "You can get it if you really want", Many Rivers to cross, The harder they come etc. Sat on the grass, had a few drinks and the atmosphere was brilliant.

On Friday night the act was Soul to Soul and tonight's its The Magic Numbers and Sandy Thom.

Might take another stroll up later as the weather is beautiful today.

It really was a great night. Didn't really know who he was until he started singing some of his songs. He was actually pretty good. Saw some of my friends down there that I hadn't seen in over a year, it was a great catch up.
