I have a planned trip to DL in a few weeks, October 2 - 5. However, due to some unexpected financial developments, I MAY have to cancel the trip. I am hoping to not have to. It IS still possible to go, but I have been on the fence about it for the last week, weighing my options. I will make a decision at the end of this upcoming weekend. I have 2 specific ticket upgrade questions for you all, and the answers may make the difference in whether or not I go. Honestly, I hadn't even considered these questions until I saw the thread about using OLD (A, B, C, D & E) DL tickets (from the old ticket books) towards the purchase of current DL tickets. That made me think anything is possible!
Here is what I need to know:
1) I have 3 one-park/one-day tickets (given to me by a client). Assume that one of the tickets is going to one of my friends, and that will be upgraded to a 2-day Park Hopper for her. I know I can also upgrade one of the one-day/one-park tickets to a 2-Day Hopper for myself, BUT can I use the TWO remaining one-day/one-park tickets and upgrade them/exchange both of them for ONE 2-day Park Hopper? Makes sense? The monetary value is the same - the one-day/park tix I have are $66 each, or $132 total, and the 2-day Park Hoppers are currently $132 (until January of next year). Could I essentially walk up to the ticket booth, hand them the two one-day/one-park tickets and trade them in for one 2-day Park Hopper? Will that work? If they are accepting old tickets from the ticket books towards the value of current tickets, it seems like they are pretty flexible at DL!!! OR, 2) could I apply the TWO one-day/one-park tickets towards ONE Annual Pass (in other words, the price of the AP minus $132 from the 2 tickets)?
I know I can call DL and find out the answers for sure, but I would probably get a faster response here. Again, this may make the difference in whether or not I keep my scheduled plans. I appreciate any info you guys can provide!

. I would think it is because they have no value, but not sure. Your main guestion has a few mimi questions that a ticket specialist would need to address. I would call what is called group tickets to see if they would know. I would think that the ones you got unless purchased individual would have been done via group ticketing. Let us know what reply you get. ( Remember to get 2 or more thoughts on this as seems that some cast members do not have correct answers.)
Woo hoo!
Guess what?!!! I called Guest Services and got a young lady by the name of Janelle. I explained my situation and asked if two of my one-day/one-park tickets could be applied towards ONE 2-day Park Hopper (or a higher level of ticket, but we will start with that). She was not sure of the answer, so she put me on hold and called the
Janelle said that the Bank told her the tickets are "basically just like money," and if, when I get to DL in October, if they give me any trouble at all at the ticket booth, I can tell them that I already talked to Janelle, who consulted the Bank, and that it is no problem at all! Yippeeeee!!!! Since I am a SoCal resident, that means I should be able to get the 2-day Park Hopper for free by trading in the two tickets (the prices say $132 on the website for SoCal residents until January), BUT even if they didn't let me use the SoCal resident discount, I would still ONLY have to pay $11 for a 2-day Park Hopper!!!! Cannot beat that deal!
Sherry E...great information to know...wishing you lots of pixie dust for the October trip ...

Of course, I don't trust them because CM's tend to contradict each other, but she did tell me that I could inform any suspicious CM's at the ticket booth that the Bank said it was ok.
