Thank goodness she is safe and alive!

We in the Toronto area are grieving for a little girl who was abducted last October. She was 9 years old and her name was Cecilia Zhang. She was actually taken from her bedroom during the night. Unfortunately, her remains were found last Saturday in a ravine just outside of Toronto. We had all hoped that she was still alive but sadly, this just wasn't the case. Police have no idea who abducted her.

So it was good to hear about this girl who was found!

Jeff was talking to me about this yesterday..The whole thing seems very odd since they have video footage of her leaving her apt by herself.

It has been suggested that the whole thing was made up or a hoax.

I've had a weird feeling about this ever since I read about her missing. It will be interesting to see how this all end up.

The whole thing seems fishy to me. If she was abducted by a stranger why did she go downstairs at 2:00 in the morning? It looked like she was waiting for someone. And if it was someone she knew why hasn't a name of a suspect been released?

The thing is, they keep talking about how she was found alive and apparently abducted by knifepoint.....

but none of the articles or news reports ever mentions why the heck she left her apartment in the middle of the night without her purse or keys or anything.

I feel like the story is incomplete without more of an explanation.

Yesterday's 4:30 news on WMAQ-TV (NBC) in Chicago said police mentioned hoax. The reporters did not mention the word hoax on the 5:00 news. But something is not right. It did look like she was waiting for someone. Hope we get answers soon.
