We went to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner tonight and they have a delicious new appetizer. We usually just dive right into our entrees but I couldn't pass this one up. Shrimp and Crabmeat dip. It's a blend of crab and shrimp baked in a creamy wine and cheese sauce with sun dried tomatoes, asiago cheese and seasonings served with grilled herb flatbread. It was just YUMMY! It's so good, you may not want to share it!

When we were leaving the restaurant, I noticed several tables where people were eating it. It seems to be a big hit.

If you visit Longhorn Steakhouse, I highly recommend it. Has anyone else tried it yet?

YEEESS!!:D It reminds me of the fabulous crab dip the RFC used to have ages ago with flatbread! MMMMMM Good!::yes::

Cool. About the dip and about the secret shopper deal. I just signed up. Thanks! :)

I haven't been to Longhorn in forever. I don't think I'll try that appetizer though. I don't eat seafood.:p Now I'm wanting a thick juicy steak though.

The Focus on Service deal ROCKS!! It's for Longhorn and/or Bugaboo Creek. YUM!!!

My BF and I went last night, but since we were ordering the filet and lobster tail, we didn't think we'd have room for the dip. We did see a lot of tables ordering it. I don't know about dipping bread into it. Is that better than tortilla chips?
