Great Mypoints email-1000 points

Got an email from mypoints yesterday - has an Avon 1000 points, with any purchase - these are rare. Usually you have to purchase $40. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know.... The email is titled "Give Gifts & Earn Points this Valentine's Day".
Also, there's a free shipping code out there, with no minimum purchase. I have not yet used it but saw it on another board and other folks have used it. The code is AVANNIV.

Thanks for the warning! That email is very confusing, but in fine print at the bottom it states "AVON points are different than Points earned through MyPoints and may not be used for MyPoints rewards". That is not nice of them at all. I almost ordered last night but it does appear that these are Avon points, not mypoints that we would receive. The email definitely is not clear at all.

I respectfully disagree. This is not for 1000 Avon points. I am certain it's for 1000 mypoints points. I have received emails like this in the past, and have *always* gotten the 1000 mypoints points.

That would be a GREAT deal if you are right! I've read it over and over and can't figure out if it is mypoints or avon points. In the past I've only received emails for 1000 points on orders over $40, not on ANY order. Please post if you receive your points, cuterlt! I hope you do!

I didn't say it was only Avon points, I just said be careful. People have in the past gotten emails like this and shopped only to find out it was Avon not MyPoints points.

I only posted as a beware. Sorry if I came off as all knowing, becuase I certainly didn't mean for it to sound that way.

The one I received also said it was for Avon points & not MyPoints points. Read carefully.
