Great. My husband just sent me a facebook

I say no top ;)

LOL this is what I would do....LOL and DBF would freak. LOL In a good way of course. :) I would be worried about it, heck our laptop has a webcam but I have yet to figure out how to use it....LOL

Haven't we all peeked on somebody in someway (through a window, cracked door, standing in a hallway, etc.) before announcing our presence?? Trying to bust someone talking about you, trying to hear some gossip, trying to scare somebody..."

Nope, you are the only one...LOL:lmao:

OP- I think some people on here are just trying to rile you up about nothing. Ignore it. He was curious about what you were doing without you knowing he was watching.

People just need to quit trying to stir things up and trying to make you paranoid. This would be a very different subject if you had started off with "My husband and I have been having some troubles lately, and I just caught him spying on me with a webcam."

Who is stirring things up. It would have disturbed ME which is what I said.

thats why I tell people, a small yellow stickie is your friend.;)
Placed where? ;)

I'm in the "no big deal" category. He set it up and tried it out, and let her know. If he's like my DH, he does something and it doesn't necessarily occur to him to tell me. (Like repotting my plants over the weekend.) Some people seem to want to think he had some sort of sordid intentions, but I've seen some people ridiculously question innocent intentions on the DIS many times at this point, so I'm not surprised.

Yesterday, I did a search on the DIS and found a topic from 2000 that people were calling heated and with personal attacks, and it was SO tame!!! It's funny how quickly now people go into ***** mode.

Amen. You have a ton of people just waiting to pounce and stir up trouble. Clearly the OP is not looking for feedback on if it is right/wrong for your DH to do this.

DH checking out the webcam and letting me know about it... no big deal. Checking out the webcam and never thinking to mention it... more like him, and still no big deal. But THIS would be disturbing and really tick me off!

That would totally bother me, but my DH knows that I am the sort of person that would be bothered and wouldn't do it. OP obviously is the sort of person who is okay with it. To each her own. :thumbsup2

over the lens, duhhh!;)

there are some spyware programs that can allow someone to turn on the webcam.

Personally, I don't see what the big deal is. The man let her know about it. It's not like he had some sort of sinister plan.

It would be a differently thing if he didn't tell her about it, she was naked and was broadcasting it all over the net. Or she was doing something she shouldn't be doing such as having an affair.

I don't get why people would be upset over this. :confused3

Back from the pool.

I'm not bothered by anyone's differing opinion. I was just explaining about him downloading it last night, etc, so no one got the wrong idea.

I completely understand that some people would be bothered by it. It really didn't bother me, but I'm sure it helped that when he told me, he wrote "You are so beautiful." ;)
