I recently bought a small, travel size bar of Vermont Soap's oatmeal lavender bar for 99¢ at a local pharmacy. It worked great on my skin, and I thought I'd try it on my hair for kicks. It worked well and smells really nice. My hair tangles really easily, but I was able to comb it afterwards with no tangles at all. I've decided that I'll pack it in my carryon the next time I fly to reduce the items I need in my 3-1-1 quart bag. I'll pack my regular shampoo in my checked luggage. They also make a shampoo bar for skin and hair, and several other soaps. Their website is vermontsoap.com . Shipping and handling is kind of expensive on a small web order, but you can probably find it somewhere locally, too. They're nationwide.
I just thought I'd share! (and no, I'm not a spokesperson for the company!)
