We rode it today and had no idea that it changed already! We are local and I stopped by Studios for our Passholder poster for Star Wars Weekends like I do every Friday morning. My inlaws are in town and I suggested we do GMR. There are now podiums near the costumes and movie effects that electronically display what those objects are (the other plaques are still there). There are electronic frames that display movie posters and change every minute and those are all displayed inside. The TCM signage is everywhere. While you're in the queue waiting to board---the movie clips are different. Robert Osborne from TCM is introduced and he talks about those clips and the movies themselves. As we boarded, the CM said we were in for a treat. There is still a CM who rides with you, but their spiel is cut by 30% because Robert Osborne introduces all of the film scenes you ride through and the CM just pointed to the scene as he described it. There was still the gangster scene and he boarded the car like always. The movie clips at the end were great and updated....Frozen & Tangled were even added as well as a longer Star Wars scene...Star Trek, also! It was a little strange or a slightly disjointed feeling having both the CM and the narrator working together, but I certainly felt like the updates were clean and warranted. Looks good!
