Okay, I am trying to remember, but really am drawing a complete blank as to what movies are on this. I always say that I am going to track them down but I never remember to write them down. Can anyone help add some titles for me to research?

Thanks!

I can remember Mary Poppins, Alien, Fantasia,& Singing in the Rain were shown in the preshow. There are a bunch of others but I can't remember there names

Raiders Of The Lost Ark is another film that is in the preshow. There are also a couple of John Wayne movies there but I don't know the titles to them.

Anyone else?

Casablanca, The Searchers (John Wayne), Wizard of Oz, 42nd Street (Busby Berkley)

Footlight Parade is another movie shown - the one with all the underwater swimmers doing dances in synchronization. I love watching that one. :)

Hey...I've got another one. Isn't Sound Of Music shown in the pre-show as well?

Yep, it is. Public Enemy with Cagney?

Thank you! I thought it was but for the life of me I couldn't remember for sure. We have to ride that ride at least once every trip, and as you can see by my signature we have made several and have two more on the books now!

footlight parade is the one that always amazes me! I want to see that sometime.

just a random funny story from my recent trip: we were at MGM on Christmas day when it was absolutely pouring. When "Singing in the Rain" came up on screen with happy singers skipping with umbrellas, everyone in the waiting area groaned!!

Wow!!! Thanks!!!!!! :cloud9: I have a computer science degree so putting that website together wasn't too hard! :) :)

Yep, I am not afraid to say that we pretty much ignore half the rides and all we do is look for characters!!! Sound silly but character hunting makes us happy! We aren't even local (we're from New Jersey, too!!!! :teeth: ) but we found over 130 different characters on six trips - not too bad! :) You should have seen me running like a fool after Fiddler and Practical Pig when I first saw them! :) The joy on our faces when we greet a new character ..... sigh! :cloud9:

Nice to see other character lovers on the DIS! Hope you can convince your family to keep on looking!! :teeth:

Thanks for all the titles that you could all find! I found a lot of those on DVD. Some are not out yet so I will have to attempt to track them down on VHS or obsessively check TCM and AMC for those to be on. Thanks again!

The movie previews shown in the pre-show refer to the movies whose scenes you will see on the ride. I don't think there are any exceptions.

Were there any changes made during the rehab in 2003?
From what I have read (and seen when we rode after the rehab), it involved things you would not really notice changes in. Things like cleaning and repairing clothes, updating the audioanimatronics figures, improving the sound system.
