Does anyone have any pictures of a Great Movie Ride reception? Just trying to get a feel for what it is like......

Yeah, I have looked at the pics there, it jut seems to be hard to imagine the whole thing, and I am not a big fan of WofO, so I was hoping for more options...

Anyway, you should read her report and that will help you decide I am sure. Hers was a progressive dinner with cocktails in the gangster area, dinner in the western town and dessert in Oz....I hope I got this all right!

Melanieewr, ooooohhhhhh, you're making me feel soooooo guilty, ~gulp.~ (But thanks for the kind words about my in-progress trip report.)

Yes, I held my vow renewal's dinner party inside the Great Movie Ride last October. It was beyond incredible. Disney did a wonderful job with it. I hope to (one of these days) finish my trip report and share the lovely photos that my team of Disney photographers took. I also hope to share a small video clip of the custom fireworks display that Disney's pyrotechnics folks created for my fairy tale evening. The fireworks display was set to music and it took my breath away. It was the surprise ending for a magical night (the only ones who knew about the fireworks were my husband and our two children).

LOL! I think you are teasing us Janet! I have decided that we will "finally" see the finale to this magnificent event EXACTLY one year from the date it happened by then there will have been 1 million views to the post!

BTW...I am in the process of following your example and plan on our renewal for Ocotober 2006. I am just glad that most of my friends are not disers, so they won't be tooooooo disappointed since they will not have yours for comparison. I am planning on doing the GMR and I hope to use Sunset Pointe as our renewal venue....the "hula goofy" in me wants that beachy romance. I will keep in touch and let you know how we progress.

Can I say ONE MORE TIME how much you inspire me!
