Great Money Saving Idea for gas

For those of you with Speedway gas stations near you, Speedway is selling $25.00 gas cards for $23.00 between now and June 30. It can save you $.08 to $.10 per gallon. I plan on getting at least $200 worth before we take off the first week in June.

SuperAmerica has these discount cards, too. I paid $46. for a $50 card last week.

Well, what sounded like a great idea turns out not to be. It seems there are zero Speedway/SuperAmerica stations (according to their web site) in TN, GA, and FL. Oh well.

i am sorry i didnt see your post earlier to let you know that were no speedways down south and fl. but you could use your card to for the first tank of gas and when you come back.

Anybody else have ideas on saving money on gas for their WDW trip?

We keep a large bucket that we throw change into all year long. When vacation rolls around, we cash in the change and use that money for gas. We usually end up having enough left over to eat out one night too. It really adds up quick - especially if you make a conscious effort to pay for everything in bills (and not give out correct change) and then soon as you're home, throw the change in. I think we have about $60 saved so far.

Well, unless it's a different company we have a speedway about 2-3 miles from us. We are in Palm Bay, Fl. We also have one about 10 miles from here.
