Great last day breakfast/lunch suggestions

We are leaving on a Saturday, checking out around 10:00 (vacation home offsite) but don't have to leave FL right away (we are driving so our times are flexible). What are everyone's preferences for late breakfast/early lunch at one of the resorts? O'hana, Chef Mickey's, Kona, others? Ideas, please! Thought about booking the pirate cruise for the kids but it's all filled, so now we are just looking at what we could do all together (group of 16) for one last hurrah! Thanks!

We we stayed at the Polynesian, our last breakfast was at the Kona Cafe. Now that we stay at the Beach Club, we usually do the Cape May Breakfast Buffet before departing.

Last Tuesday, for our last breakfast we ate at Chef Mickey's. It was a great way for DS9 and DD6 to leave on a high note, with the Fab Five. Make it a late breakfast then you won't feel so guilty about eating dessert at breakfast.

Then one last loop of the monorail, Mom, please!!!

It was a great ending for us.

We are doing CRT as a late lunch (2:45) on our last day. I thought the kids would think that was extra special!

We are planning on the Cape May breakfast July 4th week. Not sure what Saturday you are referring to but for such a large party you might have alot of trouble getting reservations at this late date. I have all my reservations made but called today to see if I could make a few changes and almost everything was completely booked.

Thanks Linda. No, our trip is in November. Although I figure even then it will be hard to book as we are already past 180. We have made our other ADRs already, but we were planning on flying out that morning/early afternnoon which was going to mean leaving straight for the airport that morning. Now we have decided to drive, so I thought one more morning of magic might be nice. Thanks.

Always looking for extra magic myself. It starts off with just one or two dinners, then we add a breakfast or two, then a lunch. Last week I added a Segway tour in Epcot for July 4th morning. We did this last April and really loved it so we will be doing it again (this time with my boyfriends sons girlfriend - thats a mouthful - are they any abv for that).

We will also be down in November (Thanksgiving week) and I have a few dinners planned. I'll have to start working on more things.

Thanksgiving for us as well. We are arriving 11/17 and leaving 11/24. The Segway Tour might be nice for the guys on our last day -I hadn't thought of that! They have always wanted to do it (husband, brother, brother-in-law, father). They have done Dive Quest in the past and are planning on it again this time. Do you need park admission for the Segway tour if the tour starts before the park opens? Thanks.

We have a timeshare booked for November 17 to 24. My boyfriends dad lives in Orlando so we will probably spend a day or two before and after that week with him. He lives in Orlando but does not get the whole "love of Disney" thing" so we usually plan some time by ourselves and some time with him.

Yes, you do need park adm to do the Segway tour. We have it scheduled for the day we are planning on being in Epcot for this vacation (July 4th - can't wait for the fireworks).

We usually save Kona for our last day breakfast. Love the Tonga Toast. DH loves the Big Kahuna breakfast. And the mickey head pancakes for the kids. And there is nothing like a pressed pot of Kona Coffee to go with your breakfast.

Oh, coffee! I have read a lot about not getting good coffee in the "world" which makes me incredibly sad!

Coffee addict here! Won't know what to do without my Starbucks!

Cape May breakfast aka Goofys Beach Bash. The food is awesome and the since the place is not that busy the characters spend alot of time with you.

Or go to lunch at DTD and do last day shopping, WPE is a favorite of ours, large portions, awesome food and great prices

I would suggest the breakfast at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Personally, I only had dinne there, but I have heard good things about their breakfast! The restaurant is beautiful as well as the hotel and you can also explore the hotel for a bit while there, especially check out the public viewing areas of the Savannah to see all the animals out there!
