Great Info On The New Pizzeria

The information doesn't really designate the Pizzeria as being Counter Service or Full Service.Does anyone know?:)

Some people have posted they believe it will be similar to Naples Risterante e Pizzeria which is already located in Disneyland.

The menu is similar to what he describes, so it sounds promising...

this isn't going to replace tutto is it? I would hate to not have tutto there anymore, but some menu items seem similar...

If you click on the blog and read it, it states it is complimenting Tutto Italia's offerings, so no - it is not replacing Tutto Italia. It is offering italian items that Tutto doesn't have on their menu.....

The more I read about it, I'm thinking it's going to be a TS place, with a CS window for the outside seating. Sorta like how the Yak & Yeti has TS and CS. You'll have the full menu for TS dining, but proably just pizza and combo meals at the CS window.

Since Japan and France both have two diffrent TS restaurants, I don't see any reason why Tutto and the new place can't co-exist

That would make perfect sense - the two most popular Italian restaurants near me both have the brick oven pizza and they have the sit-down restaurant and then a take-out area for the pizza.

That would be awesome.

And I agree; the Japan and France TS compliment each other quite nicely.....

Will be great to finally have some decent pizza in WDW!!

I'm finding myself in WS more and more. The new Refreshment Port with the empanadas, this new pizzeria, the new and improved (?) Cantina de San Angel.

mmmm....

If you go up to the top of the page and read the blog posted by the OP, it says it is a 300 seat restaurant to compliment Tutto Italia, so that would lead me to believe that it is table service.
Thanks!:)I am SO glad it is going to be Table Service!:)

And also,Mexico will soon have two FS restautants,so this will be the FOURTH Pavilion with 2 FS restaurants!:)

Naples at Disneyland is good -- I hope it's like that!:goodvibes

That is the exact set up at Disneyland. They have Naples for ts dining, then they have the cs place which has some sandwiches and pizza by the slice. They are right next door to each other but separate. The woodfired pizza is so good.

If it is the same as the one in DL, that will be great. We love eating there (both the ts and cs).

As others have said, it's most likely going to be very similar to the Naples Pizzeria in DTD in Disneyland, which is a table service joint with an adjoining quick service facility for slices and whole pies. They are owned and to operated by the same company, the Patina Group, which also runs Tutto Italia.

I've eaten at Naples (table service), and I wasn't terribly impressed. The pizza is no better or worse than pretty much every other pie in the park, just a bit thinner, and the rest of the food is on par with the quality of a Romano's Macaroni Grill. It's definitely passable, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high.

Where are they building this? Will they expand the Italy pavilion to accomodate it or have it out over the water- (that would be cool)
