Great, Inexpensive Souvenier

OK, I'm sure that this has been posted before ... but I'm going to post it again b/c I didn't know about it!!!

At the All Star Resorts (I'm not sure about other resorts), in the cafe area at the cash registers, they sell these darling crazy straws that have the loops in the shape of the Mickey head and ears. They're a bargain at 49 cents each!!!!! I bought a bunch for each kid in my neighborhood as well as the kids in my class this fall!

If you need an inexpensive souvenier, you can't beat the straws!

We got a few of those at Norway last year with the kids dinner. I didn't know you could buy them! I'll have to get some in October, they would make great stocking stuffers!

To be honest, I didn't think you could buy them w/o buying the "all you can drink" cup at the All Star Resorts. Since they were next to the cups, I figured that was the straw they give. I thought "doesn't hurt to ask" and asked our cashier if they were sold separate or if you had to buy the cup. She said they're sold separate. I figured they'd go for about $2 or $3 ea. and was pleasantly surprised when she told me they were 49 cents each!!!!

They do make amazing stocking stuffers or little extra gifts to add to a gift you're already giving. I figured they would bring some magic into our home while we're not at WDW!

I think we got one at Cinderella's Royal Table when we had lunch there.

I dont know if any of you go to US/IOA but last Sept we got the cutest Cat in the Hat plastic bottle tops that have the big plastic straw that goes through the middle. Sorry I dont know if I did a good job explaining it. But they were only $1 and they look so cool. When you get a bottle of soda in the park you push the head all the way over the top and drink through the straw.
