I had to modify our Marathon reservation because I suddenly realized that the last three days of our trip were the first three days of the Spring Semester for our son. Plus we had 33 points in holding where we had to cancel the first night of our F&W stay because my MIL was going to have surgery and Bill wanted to visit. I really didn't want to book a two bedroom villa for three nights with just the two of us. Everyone else would have left on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.

So I called today (60 days out) to drop the last two days of the trip and add three at the start (one with the holding points). I got a great CM, lots of personality who worked with me for 20 minutes getting the reservation straightened out. I'd made the reservation at 11 months out with home resort points and the holding points were not home resort points. So she borrowed the four points I needed, cancelled the days I needed cancelled, booked the new days and got the reservation number changed so it was really a new linked reservation.

I'm going to send a e-mail to Member Satisfaction to let them know. She deserves a lot of credit.

Nothing like your boss knowing & telling you what a good customer service rep you are. Those letters from satisfied / delighted customers sure are nice at performance appraisal time, too! :teeth:
