Great food poor service at California Grill

I will post a full review later,but we were really perplexed by the poor service we received tonight. Have eaten here many times, but this was the first time we left just shaking our heads at the poor service we received.

The reviews on Yelp seem to mirror your experience lately. Not sure why things have changed so much lately because that restaurant has been one of the top ones for quite a while. After being so spoiled every time we go to Napa Rose at Disneyland, I decided to pass on going to California Grill a couple weeks ago. I hope they fix whatever is going on. I would encourage you to post the review to Yelp as well and even Trip Advisor. Disney will hear you loud and clear and hopefully realize that improvement is needed ASAP.

Wow. I was there Sept. 24, 2011 and had wonderful service and food.

We had great service on 9/29 & I only had one strawberry daiquiri.

Will definitely be posting on trip advisor.Might even write to wdw mgt.We have eaten @California Grill so many times_ we are bummed and a mpuzzled at the same time...thats how bad the service was

We have been going almost every trip since 1998. We had a couple of times experienced rude servers, though the last couple of times we had fantastic service. We are skipping it this time - just cancelled it actually - the menu needs to be updated - there wasn't enough to please all in our party.

I agree the last time we were there in July the service was bad. she never checked on us for all 3 courses. Never gave us water refills couldn't even ask since she wasnt around. And it took her a while to come over at the beginning.

Sorry to hear about your disappointing service. The California Grill has always been my favorite restaurant at WDW, but I've seen so many inconsistencies over the past few years that I'm hesitant to recommend or even rely on it for a good dining experience. The food isn't consistently prepared (they seem to still have a challenge cooking steaks to their specified temperature) and it seems like a lot of the long-tenure servers have moved on.

I just got back from the World, we had dinner there on 10/3 and the meal and service was fantastic.

I am shocked to hear about bad service there, I always find it to be spot on.
