Great deal on trader pins, ENDS SOON!

Whoa, I was looking around on eBay and found this auction:

Its for 180 Disney World pins- right now its only at $2.25 plus $15 shipping- still that's a REALLY good deal for someone looking for pins to trade at the parks.

I already have enough pins to trade but thought someone else could benefit from this deal.

I didn't think you could trade pins with names on them. Disney Store do run sale on pins. i got a bunch of pooh ones buy 1 get one free when the were running all toys buy one get one and I asked if they pins were included they said yes so i bought them all.

by official Disney Pintrading Guidelines these pins are not tradable, because they are personalized .... i would not take them to the parks

Not tradable... =o( BUT, it would be worth buying per say for someone who runs a shop, fleamarket, etc.

Vickie, you have a lot of good questions.

How many is enough pins to take? We find that it doesn't really matter how many pins you take, because you will trade them all. It really depends upon the trader. Some people can "re-trade" pins they already traded for in order to trade for new pins that they want more (I call it "churning") We have an 11 year old DS who has been trading for 5 1/2 years now. We tend to limit him to 10 pins per day in order to keep the budget in check.

Where is the best place to buy from and who all do you get them from? You can buy pins from ebay (although the ones listed above would not do you any good as trader pins because they have been personalized with names and Disney does not allow personalized pins to be traded), or at one of the Orlando Outlets. Disneyshopping.com has pin sales a couple of times a year and you can sometimes get pins very reasonably there.

Does Disney store ever run a sale? The Disney Store does carry a very limited amount of pins and they DO occasionally go on sale, but I find that they sell out almost immediately when they are on sale.

I would not buy them as they are not tradable. SO what good are a 180 non tradable pins?
