I just found out that Restuarant.com sells gift cert for The Pirates Dinner Adventure and the Sleuth's Mystery Dinner. Normally you can get a $25 GC for $10. Well from now until 2/14 You can buy a $25 GC for $2! Just put in the code Heart and it takes off 80%. You have a year to use the GC from the time of purchase.

Is this legit, because if it is, for $2.00. When you go through everything, does it go on your credit card and you print it off online?

You pay for it then print out the coupon. The coupon has a number on it. When you go to use it they call and verify the number to make sure you haven't printed out multiple copies. Then they credit it to your bill. We have used restaurant.com coupons many times they are totally legit.

Thanks, I was all ready to order them, had a few in there, and couldn't because of being Canadian. Boo Hoo!

Ask someone in the US to get them for you then send you the link to print them out. Or see if Paypal works for you.

I just used a fake address and then paid by paypal and they are now printed :thumbsup2

Well i just printed 2 copies of each because i like to have 2 of each incase one goes missing?! so because i have printed 2 of each i wont be able to use them? i was only going to use one!

Your post sparked my interest in the show! However, I see it's pricey. If you buy tickets on-line and in advance, it's $50 per adult. I assume you can only use one gc per table? Or is it one gc for each 2 adults?

Has anyone ever done the "Show Only" option? For $30 per adult, it's appetizers during the pre-show (but not the dinner meal and beer). But, I suppose, what's a dinner show without the dinner?

Maybe I am too cheap for a swashbuckling evening! :lmao:

We use restraunt.com and you really need to check the use restictions on them. We are going to see Pirate Adventure in March and thought about doing this, but the restictions and stuff seemed really confusing so we gave up and just ordered our tickets through Maple Leaf.:confused3 maybe I am just challenged. We have one restraunt that we use those certificates for that works really well for us, but we used one once soemwhere and we know we were overcharged because they didn't figure the 18% gratuity or somethign right.

You can print 200 copies for all it matters, but only one of them will work. If you look you will see a number, they call and give restaurant.com that number. After that the number is useless.

I was also a bit confused about the wording because it says max 2 and 1 certificate per party, which does make it sound like 2 people can get that discount, or they may take $12.50 off the price of 2 tickets. I would call the place before you went and ask for a clarification.

It is a bit pricey but the show is fun, especially for kids, and there is some audience participation. The thing I don't like about it is that they claim to offer beer and wine during the show, which you would assume to be all you can drink, but then the waitress/waiter informs you that you are only allowed 2 drinks per show. They will then "sneak" you another one, probably to try and get a better tip. Of all the Orlando dinner shows I've attended over the years this is the only one to pull a stunt like that.

If you're a big eater I would get there early and load up on the appetizers. They aren't bad and you can have all you want.

Since you're a Brit you might also want to check restaurant.com for a restaurant called The Cricketers Arms. It's an authentic British pub with good food. We've bought several certificates and will be going there for fish and chips. It's right up the street from Pirates Adventure on International Drive.

Thanks for the tip hon :thumbsup2 We may pop into The Cricketers Arms if there is any football on at home that we will miss lol but i will take a miss of the British food im on holiday hehe.

Just a quick question? So to use these GC i go and buy 2 tickets from the box office and give them the GC and they will take $25 off the final price? sound silly dont i lol x

The Cricketers Arms is like a comfort zone if things get hectic. I just got off the phone with the people at Pirate's Adventure and your total discount would be $25 no matter the size of your party, and only 1 certificate per party. Regular price is $60 for adults and $40 for children so that really isn't a significant savings. I believe you can actually save more by booking online through their website, $10 per person no matter how many people.

We have 4 family members coming over from Ipswich in March. They may want to try some different foods but my wife, the British half of our family, never gets to eat Brit food unless it's mailed over or we go to Orlando. We always stop at Cookes of Dublin because I like strolling around Downtown Disney. The Cricketers Arms is a good 2nd choice because it's closer to Universal Studios and with their certificates you get $10 off a $20 purchase, which makes for a nice cheap F&C stop :D

I think i will purchase one of their GC just in case ;)

Think i will give the Pirates one a miss though now i worked it out with the GC discount it would cost £59.00 for the both of us, but on a attraction ticket website in the UK i can get 2 tickets for the show and food for £48 :thumbsup2

Can someone post a direct link?? I can't find those 2 restaurants listed....

You can get a better deal through the Pirates Adventure website than these certificates anyway. The GC is only good for max $25 off, if you book online you get $10 off per adult and $5 per child. Any more than 2 people and it's better to book directly through Pirates Adventure:
