Great Deal at Target

Today at Target I found a deal on some Huggies wipes. I was over in the small travel section looking for some things for my upcoming holiday trip. I noticed they had some Disney Character Huggies wipes. Soft packet with the hard closure with 40 wipes in it. I checked the price it was $.54. I got all the Pooh and princess ones they had.

I don't have kids but wipes are great for everything. That is a pretty large amount of wipes for that price. I am thinking of going back to get more. I love those things. I have them at my desk at work, in my car and take them with me when I camp or travel.

I found LEGO Ninjago Fire Temple 2507 for $29.98, down from $119.99. Couldn't pass up almost 1,200 Legos for that price, but it might be too advanced for my son.

Sorry for hijacking the thread but I need to vent about Target LOL

I just got back from an unbelievably frustrating Target trip - I had 2 small, perfectly valid coupons on my transaction of 10+ items, and the cashier started giving me grief over one of them because it wouldn't scan (it was a Target coupon - hardly any of them are scanning these days; I had purchased the exact product pictured, even double checked sizes, etc. to make sure I had gotten the right thing). Anyway, since she didn't want to accept the coupon because it didn't scan, instead of arguing with her I just told her I didn't want the item then and please take it off and give me back my coupon. She then proceeded to ARGUE WITH ME ABOUT THAT, saying I was still getting a good deal Are you kidding me???? I had to tell her THREE times I didn't want the item, and pull out my angry voice, before she took it off.

THEN, as I get out and look at my receipt, I notice I was charged for the case of Coke Zero that was supposed to be free when you buy 3 other cases of Coke products this week. Really?? That has been the special all week and it doesn't ring up correctly? You can't tell me they haven't noticed that by now. So back to Guest Services I go to get it refunded, and the cashier there acts like she is doing me this HUGE favor by refunding it. I wonder how many people have not looked at their receipts all this week and noticed they were being charged for it....

All in all, this shopping trip left a really nasty taste in my mouth. I avoid WalMart because in my area the cashiers are all miserable to customers. I've always frequented Target because they treat their customers better. But given this trip, I guess it's time to find a different Target at least!

Sorry, you were having a bad coupon day at Target. The cashier forgot to scan a couple of my coupons the other day and told me just go to customer service. In two minutes, I was walking out the door with my $2.

I guess it is all in which Target you go to. My people have been really good. They really enjoy seeing my coupon notebook and asking questions about it. Maybe that is why they are so helpful to me.

Thank you for sharing this! I love the small packs for the diaper bag since my DH has a problem of making sure he put the wipes back in the bag after he changes one of the kids. We've had to replace a big pack about 4 times now. This would be much much better (& easier on the wallet) to replace.

Sorry to hear about your Target experience. We have two Targets in our city. One is pretty coupon friendly. the other not so much. They scrutinize every coupon and act like you are trying to cheat them when you use one. Try another store. Hopefully you'll have a better experience.

As far as the wipes - great find! I'll be looking for some myself. Great for the car.
