Great company to book DCL cruises with

Just paid the balance of our Magic cruise and I have never felt so good about spending money! This is our third cruise booked through Transolar holidays (http://www.transolarholidays.com/). They are a UK company and their service is second to none. I booked onboard last year with DCl and they transferred the booking to them although it took about three months to get the price sorted out - Mike is amazing and fought our corner.
What I like is that the price includes all the tips and you even get a free night in Cocoa Beach before or after the cruise. While Dreams are great to deal with the exchange rate can be so variable I prefer dealing with a UK company (plus my price beat them by about £200).
I will certainly be booking with them again.

I'm curious about this "includes all tips;" I've never heard of such a thing. How does it work?

We booked our cruise through Transolar too.

I know that the tips are meant to be included but how does this work? The tickets came this week but they dont mention tips. I intended to phone Transolar to check but havent got round to it yet.

Don't worry about it - we did the first time though. What happens is the 2nd last day of your cruise an envelope is delivered with vouchers equal to the recommended tip made out to each person. That way you can add more if you decide to. I think this is done for European cruisers where there isn't such a tipping culture. As tips for the two of us on a 7 day cruise would run about $150 it is a big saving having them already included.

Wow! That can really add up. I don't suppose it would make must sense for Americans to book with this company considering the exchange rate and all?

The website gives prices but you also email for quotes - who knows what is going to happen with the exchange rate.

I didn't realise tips were included when I booked, and only noticed it in their brochure a few months back. It was a pleasant surprise as there are 3 of us going and I had budgeted extra for the tips.
So far I am very happy with Transolar. I booked a Cat 11 room last summer. When I rang them to find the cost of getting a better cabin, the rates had gown DOWN. They altered my booking to a Cat 9, and even with an amendment fee of £10 per person we have a Cat 9 for the price I originally agreed for a Cat11. GREAT SERVICE
