I went to DL/DCA last Friday and when I got back to my hotel I realized that when I bought a $38 sweatshirt for my daughter that they didn't take the security thing off of it.
That was the only day that I was spending at the parks and it was a $50 taxi ride each way to go back!
I asked the concierge at my hotel if they had ever come across that before and she said no, but they had an employee that worked at DL also.
Long story short, that employee said she would be happy to take the sweatshirt to work with her that night at DL and bring it back to me when she worked the next day at the hotel
And what is really weird about this story is that she worked in the crystal shop which she said is right next to the store that sold the sweatshirt!
I was very grateful that the employees were so helpfull!
