I'm looking to kill 3 hours of time for my DF and my father, while my mother and I have an appointment.

We are all staying at POFQ, so I thought they might enjoy taking the boat to DTD and eating breakfast and reading the paper over there.

Any suggestions? They will NOT be interested in a character meal or anything very loud. They would be open to CS or TS. & they will be looking to eat around 8:30/9:00.

Thanks!:goodvibes

Wolfgang Puck Express DTD-MP serves breakfast. Also, they could travel to a resort to have breakfast anywhere on property if they'd like to try somewhere else, since they have so much time. Menus can be found on www.allears.net, some on www.disney.go.com and here.

Wolfgang Express has breakfasts, and I've been reading raves for them. Although, at least once while there you should consider going to the FQ food court for beignets, they are yummy!

Pollo Campero is the only place that I know of that serves Breakfast in DTD.

I looked up their menu and, while their lunch and dinner looks fantastic, I did not see a breakfast menu-??:confused3

Thank you-I'm a longtime fan of the online menu's!:goodvibes Just looking for some recommendations as my only experience with food at DTD was the old Rainforest Cafe from the early 90's & Goofy's Candy Co!

We are planning to go to the POFQ food court the next morning! I just didn't think going there this particular morning would waste enough time for them!

I was thinking of sending them off to MK for breakfast (since we are going there later in the day) but I assumed the Main St. Bakery would be super crowded at that time and I think their only other choice would be a character meal, which I know will not appeal to them, just two guys alone!! Plus, I am dragging them to CP for dinner that night!!

They may like Wolfgang Pucks-does it get terribly busy in the morning between 8:30 and 9:30? Like loud, line out the door, no place to sit busy?

Send them to the Grand Floridian Cafe. Great breakfast and laid back atmosphere. Plus its "on the way" to MK.

Great idea, except that the boys have to be back at POFQ by 11:00am for another appointment (it's our wedding planning trip!). We are headed to MK after that!!

earl of sandwich has some breakfast items- We had a english muffin breakfast sandwich that as very good

The boats don't start until 10am but there are buses to DTD that are quick from POFQ.

I second Wolfgangs it was never busy when we went and even if it is the que moves quickly. Food is also really good and there is a nice patio area that is a nice place to sit.

The other option is fresh a peel thats just newly opended not sure if there are any reviews yet but the menu is on allears as well.

Darn, they would have really enjoyed the boat ride. Oh well, I think they could take the bus...or my dad will have his car-will he need to pay to park in DTD??

My dad is not a breakfast sandwich eater! He is more of a platter kinda guy

Yum, my DF & I would love that, but not my dad-not his kind of food. He will be seeking waffles or omelets. Which website did you find the breakfast menu?

I think WPE might be the one-I checked out the menu and found tons of things for my dad to eat.

Thanks everyone!!:goodvibes

Just wanted you to know that he will not have to pay to park at DTD. Make sure they go to the one at DTD Market Place though. I think you have already decided, but they should have plenty of time to drive to another resort to have a leisurely breakfast and be back in plenty of time.

Well if they take the bus the frist stop is the market place. Then take the boat back. its only about a 20min ride and the boats are pretty frequent.

Hope they enjoy their breakfast and good luck with the wedding planning.

Definitely WPE - one of the best breakfast spots at Disney (breakfast pizza is great). And they have good coffee too which is hard to find at Disney (Boyd's).

Ho about going to Olivia's at Old Key West? The resort is next door...Disney talk to PO.

Thank you all for your feedback! It did not even occur to me to try Olivia's! I'm going to show the menus for WPE and Olivia's to my DF and my dad and see which one they like best. :)
