Yes, I know what you're all thinking. Didn't I already know where she was? And the answer to that is: "I'm not really sure...."

Howsumever, she has managed to beat out over 320 auditioners to land a spot with a cast of about 25 for a new Televsion series called "The Edge". She's up for the lead role - we won't know the outcome of that 'til Monday, but she made it! This is her first real break and we're all VERY, VERY PROUD of her.

So far, she's been pretty good. Hasn't asked for a star on her bedroom door yet, but I think she's just biding her time. And to think....we'll all be able to say we knew her when.....

when what? when she was just a silly kid? Happy pin trader? Goofy member of the Little/Otero clan running amok? All of the above!!!

OK, I'm done boasting about my kids now.

Actually, the real reason I did this was so I could say I beat Poppy to the news. Ha! Ha! I win!

I can't wait to say I know a real TV star. Let us know when the show starts, I am sure she will be chosen for the lead, after all, with family like the poor girl has they have to take pity on her. Plus, it makes a better tv biography to have a few "excentric" family members. Peggie

Heather the Lovely, (and ditzy) actress (ask Mean Laureen).....and Crystal..up for homecoming queen next week..(more on this later)...all I can say is that they are s0000000 lucky they all have interited my genes...On then there is one in the Larva stage Brooke, and she may be the one to surprise all of us..

Of course their Mom may have has something to do w/ it...(I have to throw this in or she may never speak to me again) She and some close friends and affiliates, are launching their own internet game on Nov 1st...watch your tv's for news about Terra Quest...and if you want a sample go to www.mind-quest.com, and sample the trailer for the game.. you will love it!!

Raul is going to try and take all the credit..but..the truth is.. he really had nothing to do w/ their acting .. or "in your face"ability.. He is much tooo introverted.. and I can't play Terra Quest, and make lots of money because I am a relative..sounds like a cop out to me Raul is really a Cuban girl

For everyone's information...

1. I only recieved the talkative gene from my wonderful grandmother, the rest I got from my mom who inherited them from a bad apple that fell WAY too far from the tree.

2. Yes, I've been informed that (because the same kids attend the school the whole year) even if I'm just a featured extra I will be on for a good couple of episodes. Look for me when the camera pans over the kids by the lockers...I'm planning on making a HUGE appearence as the girl who is pasting pics of cute guys on her locker door and primping in the mirror.

3. I swear that, when I do make it to the top, I shalt not forget yon little people on the boards who hath made me what I am today...capable of checking lanyards for LE pins from over 50 feet away.

4. Unfortunately being "Discovered" means I now have to start taking Diva Lessons 101. I can't earn 200-500 dollars a day unless I can do such necessary things as the model walk and limosine wave.

But THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S SUPPORT OVER THE YEARS!!!! Trust me, you guys have been a serious source of inspiration!

1. How to achieve that perfectly blank stare when people from your "past" beg for autographs or handouts or just to touch the hem of your garment.

2. How to surround yourself with an entourage that will insulate you from the common people from which your sprung.

3. How to bark orders at everyone, including clergymen, agents, medical staff, and hairdressers -- at the same time maintaining that soft, sweet personna that endears you to fans worldwide.

4. How to appear in public, always perfectly dressed, coiffed, buffed, and manicured, when you only have 8-9 hours to get ready.

5. How to seem childlike and naive when reviewing lengthy contracts, but nailing every producer, director, and studio executive if they fail to meet your tiniest requirement buried in 300 pages of legalese.

Once you've got these down pat, we can move on to lessons 5-10.

I narrowly escaped getting a supporting role, but I am being cast as a featured extra, which means that I'm always in the backround since the same students go to the school year round. : ) I'm actually really happy, I've never even gotten a callback before and I almost got a role!!!

Okay, now the GOOD news...
So, I didn't get into "The Edge", whoop-de-doo. BUT I DID manage to catch the leading lady role in a student-directed film called "Broken" which my ENTIRE school is going to see! : D

I'm playing Elaina, a girl who is dealing with her sister's insanity (Her sis has been in an asylum for seven years) and enjoying being with her new boyfriend (Danny) who she teases constently.

I also got a solo in Cabaret, "The Highway of Love" from "I love you, you're perfect, now change". So I'm quite alright with not getting a role on the "Edge"!

Is that she is in the tv show, just not a lead..
If she makes a really good impression as one of the background kids, they will start to give her some lines, since this will be her first tv series, she still has a lot to learn...they also want her behind the scenes to work in the art dept. so she has a chance to learn a lot, and get paid for it!!!

I am just waiting to borrow some money from her..

Your still THE DIVA to all of us. Congrats on the small part, but remember "there are no small parts" I heard that somewhere once.
Also remember, if you hit the star in just the right place behind her knees she won't be able to perform and you can rush in like they do in the movies and say "I know the lines, I can do it"
Let us know when the show goes on and we will all be there watching for you, ign oring all the stuff they try to put in the foreground to fill the screen. You will be the only one worth watching. Peggie
