Great Bay Beach in St. Maarten, have you spent time there?

We were thinking of just hanging at Great Bay Beach in St. Maarten on our next cruise. I would like to shop on Front Street, too. Are there changing facilities, showers, restrooms, etc. there? By the time we haul all of us off the ship, I don't want to return for a potty break or to change into something decent to shop or dine.

I love greatbay beach at St Martin. I do just as you were talking about, I shop and then spend time on the beach. Not sure if they have any facilities. I always return to the ship to drop my stuff off and then go back to the beach, so I have had no need for facilities. There are a couple of restaurants, including a Burger King right near there though....You can rent jet skis from this beach too, that is what I want to try in November...
