Great American Scrapbook Convention Dates

Since we all like to plan in advance.....
here are the 2004 dates for the convention.

june 9-12 Arlington, TX

june 17-19 Chantilly, VA

july 29-31 Grand Rapids, MI

Can't wait to get all the details, I'm sure pam and I will show up at the chantilly, va one, it's just down the road!

Yeah!!! Finally something comes close to where I live. I am only about 30 miles from Grand Rapids. Now I just need to keep DH from planning a camping trip that weekend. LOL

So far no info on the GR one. I hope it does not take long for them to schedule everything. I think I am going to have to save up some major bucks for this one.

It seemed last year that it took a REALLY long time before they actually had any details. And then the site was miserable to navigate. But, it was really cool to go to. maggie

Hopefully things will work in my favor. I want to really go to a scrapbook gathering so bad. And with it being so close to my parents and other friends I can stay with them if I choose to save on hotel costs.

I would LOVE to go to the Grand Rapids one!! I'm only a few hours from there - 2 or 3 maybe.

I've never been to a scrapbook convention before. I've heard it's lots of fun though.

I tried to look at the link and it doesn't have any info posted about the workshops etc. can somebody highlight some of the events of this convention. Seeing how it's 10 min from my house, this really interests me.

They haven't posted any details yet, usually it's closer to the dates. Last year it seems that it took a very long time. maggie

I'm only an hour and a half from GR! Who knew everyone was so close. Maybe a good chance for a get together for those who go....

I have to check this out. I've never heard of it. Can anyone who has been give some highlights?
