Great AAA Package

I originally booked a room only reservation through Disney for 4 nights in October at POFQ. I got a AAA rate of 585.00 for the 4 nights tax included.
That is 146.00 night.

i decided to try calling my local AAA office for their package price. My agent got me a package with 2 day base tickets for 2 adukts and 1 child for 825.00 including tax. Tickets alone would cost us 397.00. He said tickets arenn't discounted so I subtracted the ticket price from the package to give me a total of 428 for the 4 nights. That is 107 a night ! How is this possible? I asked the AAA agent to make sure he had all the right info and he did. He said he actually calls Disney himself to book it for you.

Do travel agents get a special rate? Are there a certain amount of rooms set aside for travel agents? anyone else have this happen to them? I am nervous that when we get there something will be wrong. It seems too good to be true.

I also called Disney direct before AAA to get the special ZBG code applied to my original reservation adding tickets to my room onl reservation and she said there were no rooms left for that discount.

I guess AAA really paid off this time...
I got the confirmation in the mail and everything looks right.

I don't know if you know this already but you can get the 5 day pass for about $30 more per person.

It's all just luck. It is very possible that when you called Disney yourself, there were no rooms available at POFQ using ZBG but then when AAA called a few days later--rooms opened up. It's all luck of the draw in my opinion--and it was your lucky day!
