I was so excited seeing Max and Laura win tonight! I definitely want to see it!!! I'm hoping DH and I can go to NYC for a weekend. My DD is only 6...I know that the cleaned up some of the songs for the tv show...but what about on Broadway? Do you think it's something we could take her to? She's been watching this with me and just loves it. She's seen the movie, but I FF through Greased Lightnin' and Rizzo's Sandra Dee. (same when listening to the CD) Anyhow...I felt kind of sorry for the other contestants when the Broadway cast took the stage.

I really wanted Austin to win - very disappointed. I voted for Laura - so glad she won. I was hoping that whomever did not make, Austin & Ashley that they would be part of the cast in another role. I was planning to go but I did not like Max so I think I may skip. I want to see Beauty & the Beast before they close so I may use my money to see that instead.

I ordered my tickets!!!! It's a long way off but we're going in November for my birthday. I'm so excited Max won and I can't wait to go!!!! This is my first Broadway show!!

I am just so glad Max and Laura won. Austin was totally not believable as Danny (IMO of course) and just not as talented as Max. I can't wait for the CR.

I love Max. For the girls it did not matter as much. I hope Laura can put her all in it with being a newlywed! I loved Ashley. I was hoping the runner ups would get a part too, bummer!
I wish we could go...my DH thinks I am a freak. We both teach so I don't think it will be in our plans!

I just ordered tickets! We're going in August and taking our daughter for her 17th birthday. She's SO excited to see Max perform!

We always prefer Mezzanine seats, and I managed to get center, row B.

I thought, on the first show, they said something about even if they win, it doesn't mean the producer or director had to use them. Does anyone else remember this?

No matter--they will DEFINITELY use them. Everyone buying their tickets wants to see Max and Laura and that's it--the producers will give the public what they want to see.

Wow!!! That is really cool! Max used to come see all of our shows when I had a children's theatre in AZ. Of course, he was much younger then. I'm really happy he won...he really IS a nice kid.

I would love to take my DD's to see it. We live in Seattle, so I guess it's not going to happen. We were so happy Max won!

I'm estatic Max and Laura won!I've been rooting for Max since the beginning and Laura somewhere in the middle.But anyway congrat's to the both of them!
I feel so proud...like I'm one of their parents.We live in upstate New York and I would love to go see the show this September.I'm sure it'll be a big hit!!

I was so happy to see him win. I was so nervous for him when he was standing there with Austin. I knew it must of blown Austins ego. He always acted like he was a shoe in for the part.

GREAT SEATS!!!! I couldn't find anything in center stage, row A for August. We could have had row A, right stage, but figured row B center would offer a better view.

Not to be mean, but if Austin had won, I wouldn't have bothered getting tickets. My daughter just thinks Max is the cutest thing ever. I look at him now, and all I can see is Danny. Max just has that quirkiness about him, and he is so charismatic on stage.

When I saw the rest of the broadway cast on the show last night, it sealed the deal for me. I can't wait to see all of them on broadway. Looks like a fun cast and a fun show!

Exactly! If Austin had won I wouldn't be going either. He just bugged me. I just can't wait to see it!!

I agree that Row B center would be way better than A off to the side!!! ENJOY!!! You're going to have a blast. You'll have to fill me in after you go!!
