Grayline tours - anaheim

Aloha Kauinohea,

I emailed Grayline and was told that pickup would be anywhere between 8 and 8:30 depending on your hotel. That's about the only info I could get from them though. I wish I knew more about drop off and pick up times to and from the parks. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

I called too and was tols 8-8:30. I could have sworn it was earlier last time (years ago) If its really 8:30, we won't be at Sea world till after 10:00. That seems so late!

I know! We're planning on using Grayline for SW, KBF, US, and SD Zoo so I'm a little disappointed to hear that we won't be there for park opening OR until park closing. However, short of renting a car and doing all the driving, we have no other option. I hope it works out for both of us.

Actually, it could take even longer than that...

Greyline picks everyone up together at hotels no matter which tour you are taking, then drops everyone to their ticketing office. This is where you must stand in a long line, switch your vouchers (or pay cash for them) and get proper tickets. You then head out to their big parking lot of buses where you board your bus to Sea World - depending on how long the queue is inside it can sometimes take about 30 mins of waiting around at their depot before you head off down the highway... :rolleyes1

Saying that though, we have been on several GreyLine tours and found them to be really informative and organised. At least it's a very touristy feeling lining up for your tickets with everyone else who is on vacation as well. ;)

I'm thinking postive that it will go well for us!
Grayling works out best for our family because its the only transportation that we can use without a baby carseat!

We will be doing the Sea World tour also, and I'm thinking that our arrival will actually be closer to 11 A.M. The busses apparently don't leave until 9:00 - 9:15 (after everyone is picked up at their hotel and regrouped according to which tour they are taken, as mentioned above). The trip will take between 1 and 1/2 hours, and 1 and 3/4 hours depending on traffic, according to Sea World. So I figured if we didn't leave until 9:15 and it took 1 and 3/4 hours, we would arrive around 11 A.M. :) I am interested in hearing from others as to what time they actually arrived at Sea World with this tour. :)

Wow that is a bit of a concern , 11.00 thats late , we were going to use Grayline for both Universal and SW - Are there any tours that get you to the parks on opening ?

I'm happy to drive to Sea World but no way will I drive to Universal :lmao:
