Gray shade home hair color

Its odd that I am having a really hard time finding reviews for good home hair color for shades of gray. Its been a trend to stay a glamorous gray for a long time & now its the new trendy teen thing to do but when I search for my 16 year old who wanted gray but got blonde (uggh) I keep hitting reviews for good gray coverage but not good gray shades/ brands & all so I thought I would ask here. I remember my grandma using Fanciful for luxorious gray but I think that only lasts a day- any recommendations.

I saw all sorts of "trendy" colors including pastels and silvers at Sally Beauty. Maybe check online at their website for any reviews? The girls who work there are always super helpful too!

I think you have to achieve the lightest shade of blonde to get a silver. That's what a stylist friend did.
