Gratuities for driver?

I know that the ABD handbook says all gratuities are covered except for the guides...but do people still tip the driver that comes to the airport and drives you to the hotel? It seems odd to not tip somebody when they are doing something just for your own family. Thoughts on that? We leave Saturday, so fast opinions would be super helpful! LOL Thanks!

They are tipped by ABD.

ABD tips them well. It's one of the benefits of doing an ABD. I've never tipped them.

On our first ABD, everyone STARED at us b/c we didn't immediately tip them. So just for your own information - these people may be well tipped, but they may not know that at the time.

I asked a driver once if he had been tipped and he told me he had been well taken care of by ABD.
