graphics tablet ?

evidently i am an idiot( no surprise to some) since for some reason i can not figure out how to get my tablet lines to transfer...if i write something in the vista handwriting recognition place it shows up so i know the tablet is working but i can not get it to show up in corel painter x or photoshop elements 5...evidently i am the only one with the problem since i can't find it in support pages. so any idea what i need to do to get painter or pse to see my writing? the tablet i got ( vistablet, has very limited instruction, it tells you how to flick etc but like i said , first i need something to tell me how to get it to recognize I'm using it to start with )

in corel painter x, go to help, then search and put in tablet....

with corel painter photo essentials it explains how to set it up..

thanks, since i am obviously brain dead and can't think beyond my nose as per your suggestion it dawned on me to go to the actual corel site and it has a whole forum for painter x, much more helpful than the tutorials...

well i reinstalled the updated tablet driver for the third time, this time without uninstalling the old driver( they said to uninstall in the instructions) and now the thing is working in painter and pspe. what a lot of messing around for a plug and play device...now step one is done, 999 more to go to be painter x proficient...i also found some tutorials on my space about it, like an auto paint i can cheat with till i figure out how to do the real stuff, if i can figure out how to use the auto paint that is but as long as the electricity doesn't go out i can play with it this weekend since with a foot of snow and -30 degree wind chills being forecast i sure won't be going outside to shoot anything
