Grands Palms to Disney via 429

[FLA NUT]

We are staying at Grand Palms off the upper end of Lindfields in May. I was wondering if we will be able to take 192 to 429 to the new Disney entrance or will we be better off staying on 192 to World Drive?

Also, any input on Grand Palms will be greatly appreciated. I am a little nervous about staying off property but I found an unbeatable rate for 7 nights and can't pass it up.

Maybe the best way would be south from Lindfields onto Funie Steed Road .Head East -you are now running parallel to 192 .You can either turn north at the crossroads with Formosa Gardens Blvd then follow the road up to 192 turn right then left onto Sherberth to get to the parks area that way ot continue along funie steed until it intersects with Entry point blvd then go straight across 192 to Sherberth

Thanks - I plan on exploring while we are there and trying a few different routes. DH is not excited about staying off property due to the distance so I'm hoping I can prove to him that we have not made a bad decision.

We stayed at Grand Palms last year. I don't know the route we took to get to WDW, but it wasn't long, maybe 10-15 minutes or so. DH found the shortest route using Google maps. The resort is really quite nice. Are you renting from an owner? We had a lovely time, and are going back again this summer. The owners gave us a great rate as return guests.

We are renting from owners @ VRBO. I'm a little worried because it is a new rental with no feedback but they have answered all my questions/concerns and even updated their site. I hope everything turns out ok. The rate was too good to pass up and it looks nice. I can't post links yet, but if you PM me I'll send it to you to check out and give your opinion.
